Last Chance to secure/block .XXX domain names! Sunrise periods end today

The countdown is on. The Sunrise periods are reaching the end and companies that do not want to face possible cybersquatting have until the end of today to block their .XXX gTLDs.
*UPDATE* ICM Registry has updated Sunrise A and B registration periods to end today October 31, 2011
As a recap, During Sunrise A, trademark owners from within the adult entertainment industry will be able to apply for .XXX domains. During Sunrise B, trademark owners from outside the adult industry will have a chance to apply to opt out of the .XXX gTLD and block their domain name.
There has been unofficial information with regards to the end of the Sunrise periods. Blogger Elliot J. Silver posted an update indicating that Vaughn Liley, Sales Director for the ICM registry, had confirmed to him the extension of the Sunrise periods to include the weekend, this would change the end date to October 31st, 2011. (Confirmed)
The official ICM Registry still indicates October 28 as their final date and claims that it has received over 42,000 applications already as of October 24, 2011. This number is over five times what the ICM had anticipated.
The next stage in the game will be the 17-day “Landrush” period, beginning November 8, 2011 and it applies to members of the adult entertaining industry who did not qualify during Sunrise periods. Members of the general public will be able to register all remaining .XXX domain names beginning on December 6, 2011.
