So Google changed the magic formula after bad "link" behavior by JC Penney and Overstock.com?
Friday, many companies hurt by "discount" linkage scams or outright search term annihilation woke up to a new bad dream.
Sites that previously ranked highly in searches for the 'chosen" keywords like "skinny jeans" on Google dropped sharply.
Some of the sites that were hurt even defended the quality of their content! Time for the SEO firms to get back in and devise new ways to out pull competitors. As always, no matter what the Google formula is, great content, link watching and linking your defensive domains back to the mother site will win out!
