I came across this US air force flow chart for responses to social media discussion and thought I'd share this.

It's a highly efficient (in typical military fashion!) approach to dealing with both negative and positive dialogue online.  Not a bad template to repurpose for your own use and to share broadly within your organization.  You might also want to include identifying accountability for response to specific types of discussion (e.g. R&D responds to discussion associated with technical specifications, HR with respect to discussions re salary competitiveness, etc.).  This should allow for a more timely and appreciated engagement with communities of interest.
